"When we met Hayley for the very first time, we both walked away from the meeting and felt a huge sense of relief as we knew that everything was going to be okay on our day. We can't really put our finger on exactly why but she just came across as very knowledgeable and her passion and love of all things 'wedding' was so obvious, hayley was really eager and enthusiastic, and her face lit up talking about our day! she is really organised which we thought was a positive. We had also looked into other venues before booking the Old Joint Stock and met with their co-ordinators and although they said the right things their hearts didn't seem to be in it like Hayley was. she met us on her days off, she did things outside of work and really lived and breathed our day as much as we did!
Initially when we met Hayley our concern was how to bring wedding etiquette and formalities such as timing of the day, receiving line and so on. Neither myself and lee had ever planned a wedding nor been involved in planning a wedding so we had no idea regarding these details but were able to plan for them with her help. We had a clear idea in our heads of the theme for the wedding, or so we thought until we met hayley, as we hadn't really considered how the reception room would look/the little details. so from our short conversations with hayley, she came up with lots of inspiration which we used to bring our reception together and incorporate into our whole wedding day. Some of the things we ended up doing we hadn't even thought of until she gave us the ideas. She even helped us with putting the menu together with the head chef at The Old Joint Stock.
One reason I would recommend Hayley to others is the time she saved us, Lee has a very busy job and I look after our little one, so our time to do research for inspiration was limited - Hayley bombarded us with idea after idea and had we had more time to plan I think we would have incorporated more. Another reason for recommending Hayley to people would be her inside knowledge and contacts that she has which ultimately saved us money as if we had sourced the chair covers, material etc ourselves, it would have cost us more. Based on our experience I would recommend Hayley to anyone, as the money it would cost to hire her would be saved on the cost of your wedding anyway.
Hayley sourced things I'm not sure we would known where to go for. I think our reception would have looked different if she hadn't been involved. I'm not sure our day would have had as much structure if she hadn't helped us plan it. I'm pretty sure we would have been running round even more so if she hadn't been involved. She is a great investment to anyones wedding day.
As for what we liked best me and Lee both agree it was her in depth knowledge and overall attitude and enthusiasm, even when things didn't quite go to plan, like the waiter staff being stuck in a broken lift with the food trolley, she was unfazed and it was reassuring for us!
The wedding was amazing it was everything we hoped for and more, we've had so many people comment on how fantastic the wedding was and everyone loved the food it went down a treat!

Thank you so much for all of your hard work both the day before and on the day of Rachel and Sean's wedding. It was great to have another pair of hands that I could rely on and having you there meant that I could concentrate on a multitude of different things on the day knowing that you were in control of other issues and tasks elsewhere. You have a great eye for design and styling and a brilliant 'get the job done' attitude. Nothing phased you, not even having to climb up 10ft ladders! Out of everything I paid for in the run up to our wedding, our wedding coordinator was undoubtedly the best thing I spent my money on, and she is worth her weight in gold!. Having her there not only meant she could troubleshoot, but it also took the pressure of my family members who would have been running around like headless chickens, and wouldn't have the skill set or knowledge to do what an experienced wedding coordinator can do. PRICELESS!

Hayley's assistance in the set up and smooth running of our wedding was invaluable and the wedding day itself was a huge success.

Hayley was the wedding co-ordinator on my wedding day, 4th June 2010 (which I later found out was her birthday) and she provided an excellent service.
Hayley proved to be professional, flexible and efficient throughout the run-up to the wedding and on the big day itself. I felt secure that our wedding day was in safe hands.
